You age pretty much the way you lived… Your sense of humour…relationships…family. You can kind of gauge how you will face the end of things…my saying in my yearbook was “that’s life” and it hasn’t changed…but you do start to wonder what the final chapter might contain. It’s a season of losses but it’s part of it… your driver’s license, your job…your health…you can add that up. I wish I knew how much time I had so I knew how much to budget. Not necessarily money, but time. It isn’t a worry, it just becomes something to think about… the decisions you make. Do I spend it writing that book or do I spend it with my grandchildren… Does that make sense?”
