I have a motorcycle, I had a more comfortable bike before, and I used to go on trips across Nova Scotia all the time. I used to live there but recently moved back to Ontario. I’m selling it because I don’t want to ride it here, it’s kind of uncomfortable too, like a crotch rocket, I can only stay on it for two hours.

The thing I’m most concerned about is my purpose in life now that I’m not working. I have my kids and my grandchildren, but I was a registered nurse for over 45 years… it’s not really a ‘leave at work’ profession… it’s very consuming… that demands you to be invested… so now, it’s hard to adjust… it was a huge part of my life.

I have to keep busy… I want to have projects that I’m looking forward to doing… be excited about things. I am in three different bands and Duncan here keeps me busy and active… Nothing like having a dog to be friendly with strangers and to meet new people all the time, especially if they have a dog too.
