Art, literature, dance, I have always been a creative. I love music and studied music as well, I went back to school later in life and it was the best decision. I am in different bands and I teach piano a couple times a week…In January 2019, I decided to sign up for the 10 weeks winter course session “From Books To Broadway”. It was amazing. If you are a purist, I don’t think you would like it, but I like the new versions and the adaptations…– The Importance of Being Ernest, Dorian Gray… you really begin to appreciate how they can take something and turn it into these grand things. I have registered to do it again as I am thoroughly enjoying the discussions that the class is engaged in from reading the selected play’s / book’s script that the instructor has on her list.

My husband met me, I didn’t meet him. Destiny is real girls, let me tell you. I am a scorpio and I am tolerant and patient but then you see a side of me, i’m telling you the stinger will get you. I got my tarot reading, you should too! My mother is a Taurus… and if you are a Taurus you are bull headed. Strong willed and stubborn.. She is loyal and committed, has a strong ethic and moral. She did her nurse’s training in Trinidad under the British system where the Matron was the head of the hospital. Years later my mom decided to go back to be trained as a Public Health Nurse and was posted in several clinics for periods of time located in the North Coast and North Eastern part of the island. She was just so ahead of her time. She was the only woman who was working in her family at the time. It was at one of the clinics when a newly young qualified doctor came out to do his once a week session and he complained about the ‘unclean’ office environment he had to work in.. my mom simply handed him the brush.

Getting older is about loving yourself, you have to love yourself before you love anybody else. We need to accept that there are certain things you can’t change… but what you can change is how you continue to respond to those experiences ( in my case loss) and find the way to cope with these things that impact you in a profound way. We make mistakes but we should embrace them, be happy to make mistakes. You have the ability to redefine or review, like Thomas Edison, how many times did it take him to make the light bulb. If you keep your glass full, you won’t have room to learn or to fill it with anything else.. The more I read the less I know… you see, I am always under revision
